Pedal Power is Proud to Sponsor the 'Petal Power' all Girls Mountain Bike Team
The Petal Power Team, a Connecticut Cycling Advancement Program youth cycling team, is seeking girls of any riding level ages 9 -18. The team will practice at Wadsworth State Park and surrounding areas, two days a week in the early evening. Racing is optional, and interested riders will travel to events of the Connecticut spring mountain biking race series.
The CCAP MTB season lasts 12 weeks (Mid March-June) and gives girls access and instruction in the sport of mountain biking. Participants ride as a team and work in a structured, progressive manner to improve in skills and strength. Participants have the option to compete in several local races in a team based setting. Mountain biking is a great sport that helps build strong, self-confident girls!
The team is led by USA Cycling certified head coach Jen Ahern.

Jen is looking forward to having fun and shredding the trails with the Petal Power girls' mountain bike club in 2018!
